FATHOM’s confirmed base survival kit is small and purposeful: grapple to escape, flash the camera to blind Grinsworth, and hide silently in a locker. Optional passes add navigation, visibility, extra supplies, movement improvement, lives, and social or cosmetic benefits.
Use this as a function index rather than a stat sheet. Public descriptions confirm what an item is for, but most exact durations, cooldowns, locations, sharing rules, and mode interactions still need current in-game testing.
Base survival tools
Grapple
Role: movement and escape.
Use: choose a visible valid destination that creates distance.
Unknown: base range, cooldown and valid surfaces.
Camera flash
Role: briefly blind Grinsworth.
Use: face the threat and flash when the interruption opens a route.
Unknown: blind duration, range and angle tolerance.
Locker
Role: environmental hiding.
Use: break pursuit, enter, and stop making sound.
Unknown: search behavior, sharing and entry timing.
The grapple and flash solve active pursuit, while a locker is a quiet reset. Avoid spending both active tools during one encounter unless the first action clearly failed. A surviving player with one remaining answer is better prepared for the next objective.
Starter Pack supplies
The official Starter Pack description says every run begins with two energy drinks, one medkit, one bandage, two extra camera flashes, and a stronger flashlight. This confirms the item names and per-run supply model. It does not state exact healing, speed, stamina, duration, brightness, or inventory limits.
Use medical supplies after reaching a safe reset rather than while blocking the group route. Save energy drinks for a section where their live effect solves a known movement problem. Extra flashes are valuable only when the player faces Grinsworth at a useful range and still has an exit.
The stronger flashlight improves a named piece of gear, but the public product record does not quantify brightness or battery behavior. Compare it in the current build before treating it as a substitute for Night Vision.
Permanent navigation and visibility tools
Radar places a display on screen that shows Grinsworth and the items and objectives the player needs. It works in Story and Chase and is off in Nightmare. The description does not publish range, refresh frequency, floor separation, or whether teammates see the same markers.
Night Vision Goggles let the player see in the dark and add a faint static over the view while worn. They also work in Story and Chase and are off in Nightmare. They improve the player’s visibility; the product description does not claim they change Grinsworth’s detection.
Both are convenience tools. If the problem is objective navigation, Radar is the closer match. If the problem is darkness, Night Vision is the direct match. Neither replaces sound control or a retreat route.
Movement, lives and player interaction
Stronger Grapple reaches 50% farther and pulls 50% faster and includes the Showman skin. The percentages are official product text. They do not prove a shorter cooldown, new grapple surfaces, or guaranteed escape from every pursuit.
Infinite Lives says the owner has infinite lives. The product record does not explain how it interacts with Story checkpoints, Chase outcomes, or Untouchable. Because Untouchable requires finishing Chapter 1 without losing a life, extra lives should not be treated as permission to lose one during that badge attempt.
Shove gives a tool for pushing other players out of the way. It works in Story and Chase and remains active in Nightmare. Use it carefully in crowded exits. The official description does not say it affects Grinsworth.
Bundles and non-survival benefits
Survivor Bundle includes Infinite Lives, Radar, Night Vision Goggles, and Starter Pack. Its official description says the bundle costs less than buying the four separately. Recheck current prices and ownership handling before purchasing, especially if you already own one component.
VIP provides an equippable aura, a [VIP] chat title, a free jumpscare each day, and 30% extra cash. Those are official listed benefits, but most are social, cosmetic, or economy-focused rather than direct route tools.
The public API also lists a 2x Cash record that was not for sale on October 30. A hidden or off-sale product should not be counted as an available purchase merely because its old record still exists.
Choose gear by repeated failure
Do not start with “Which pass is best?” Start with the problem that ends runs. If you cannot find objectives, compare Radar. If you cannot read dark spaces, compare Night Vision. If the grapple route falls short, test whether Stronger Grapple addresses that exact gap. If supplies run out, inspect Starter Pack or the bundle.
If the real problem is constant talking, blocked doorways, or using the flash too early, no purchase fixes it. Use the Sound guide and Grinsworth guide first.
Values that remain update-sensitive
Item spawn locations, randomization, drop rules, healing amounts, movement effects, flashlight strength, camera range, grapple surfaces, cooldowns, sharing, team ownership, refunds, upgrade paths, and per-mode inventory retention require live testing. Prices and sale status also change.
Check the current Store tab immediately before spending Robux. Confirm the creator is 「The Crimson Crusaders」 and the pass belongs to Universe ID 10770101026.
